360o Assessment as part of the coaching process
Why 360s: In times of dramatic change, feedback as to the effect of environments, decisions and behaviors becomes a crucial determinant of a leaders' ability to make appropriate interventions. When feedback is lacking the likelihood is that perceptual blind spots regarding the effects of the leaders behaviors on their organizations performance will develop. Executives in increasing numbers have been turning to 360o feedback instruments or interviews as a way to gain more focused and confidential insight into the effects of their behaviors on the performance of others as well as the underlying factors which may cause these behaviors. The term 360o comes from the notion of a leaders being evaluated from above by his/her boss, laterally by peers and from below by direct reports, thus creating an all around 360o view of behavior/performance. Our 360 has 75 - 150 questions, 5 - 10 of each under 15 different categories:
We can tailor our 360 to your competencies with an increased or decreased number of questions. Also, a list of adjectives can be added as well as verbatim comments from the participants which are more often the most tailored feedback a person can receive. Our 360 can be taken on line, and all the data will be gathered automatically. The report will be sent to you electronically or we can provide a hard copy. All you have to do is provide us with the names, relationship (self, leader, peer, direct report, other) and their email addresses and we will manage the whole project for you.
